"Music, as you may have gathered, is far from incidental to the production. The handsome score is written and performed by the “symphonic folk-rock” band Hem...there is music to add color, wit, life to almost every scene, played on a mixture of strings, percussion and woodwinds, the sound evoking a distant era without straining for period authenticity." - The New York Times

Recorded in 2009 following the success of The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night, this album features the original cast of Raúl Esparza, Anne Hathaway, Audra McDonald, David Pittu, and Jon Patrick Walker. Original music composed by folk-rock group Hem is brought to life with the musicians of the Illyrian Marching Band and the Gowanus Radio Orchestra. Nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music in a Play, this soundtrack will take listeners back to Shakespeare-filled nights in Central Park.

Leslie was a member of the cast as a musician in the Illyrian Marching Band and recorded thirteen tracks on the album.
