In 2009, a French guitarist and an American flutist met in Ireland. He's a scientist and a musician. She's a music teacher and a writer. They started playing tunes together and they never stopped.

They now perform traditional music from Ireland and France.

Sometimes folk-inspired music that she writes.

They feature the guitar artistry that he creates.

Sometimes there's a merging of her classical and folk music worlds.

Occasionally he'll sing in French.

And if nothing else, there are always tunes. Tunes and good company.

And they're grateful for that.

Folk Ragoût: Musiques Folk du Monde is a collection of traditional and original music from Ireland, Scotland, France, and South America. Recorded in County Cork, Ireland, all arrangements are by Leslie and Fred.
